NJ DYNAMO was founded in 1994 as a program for MCYSA, to provide youth players mainly from the Northern and Western parts of NJ, with the opportunity to play at high levels of competition under professional coaching and training.
By 1997 the club had already achieved NJ State Cup titles on the boys side and 1st places in tournaments such as The Orange Bowl in FL, WAGS in VA, and JAGS, on the girls side. US Men's Team's GK, Tim Howard is a former NJ Dynamo player who earned a Boys U-17 State Cup for our club. We have developed many College players, both men and women, who have gone on to play for top Division 1 schools such as Princeton, Santa Clara, Seton Hall and Rutgers. Many others have gone on to star at top Community Colleges and other local schools.
In 2002 NJ Dynamo became an independent and private club thus participating in the most competitive leagues, tournaments and college showcases. We have continued the tradition of developing superior soccer players and have continued the tradition of playing in the most competitive leagues and tournaments availble.
In 2010 our U-18 Dynamo GIrls won our third State Cup since 2006. And most recently in 2012 our U14 Girls Red Devils won the prestigious NJ Cup, making it our 4th state title.
We are an organization committed to developing youth soccer through challenging age appropriate practicing and playing and are currently playing and training at the beautiful SSC in Flanders, New Jersey.
